Everybody is in Siebel Application management Wow, now customers are releasing their own managment solutions for Siebel. The white paper looks nice and shiny, but the IT metrics that are tracked don't even include Siebel Server component and task status parameters.... MORE...

Open source support Well, its no secret that open source software has been supported by the bigger companies for some time. Novell just announced further support for the Linux platorm. IBM, Novell, and Recursive Technology. Basically on the same level ;).... MORE...

Siebel and Mercury Interactive This PDF is interesting, although slightly dated. It mentions that the Mercury product is the only certified product for Siebel 7, so I'm thinking it may be from 2002 or early 03. Now of course the Quest, Empirix, BMC, and... MORE...

Hardware 28 xenon processers ought to do the trick. The idea of running both the database server and all application components on the same server would simplify a number the task ofin supporting Siebel. Hardware isn't the only compoent, or even... MORE...
