Cost of Oracle Enterprise Manager for Siebel
This press release lists prices for montioring Siebel with Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g. It is $6000 per CPU. That is presummably on top of the base Oracle Enterprise Manager costs.
The biggest VA2 customers have 42 Siebel server licenses. Siebel servers are typically in the 2 -4 CPU range, although 8 CPUs are not uncommon. Lets go with 2 to be charitable... So an Oracle Enterprise Manager deal for 80 CPU deployment would cost $480,000 plus base Oracle Enterprise Manager fees. Perhaps a $600,000 deal.
