Back up plan for FestPest 2002

It was quite a struggle getting to Munich. We finally (but almost didn't) got on the flight to Frankfurt Sunday afternoon, thanks to the greatest United employee Deborah Borrow (have a picture, will post later) who managed to get us on the flight!!! Then we spent 3 hours at the Lufthansa ticket counter buying our RTW tix, then a 3.5 hour train ride to Munchen. This doesn't sound all that bad but it was hell yesterday since i didn't sleep on the plane and had to watch the ticket agent manually write out the tickets for my 20 travel segments.
Oktoberfest was quite a sight, i am surprised I am not hungover today but i don't feel great, but mostly because i have a cold and could not sleep last night and having to deal with the three boys snoring. It was a definitely a fun night, other than almost punching this drunk german guy trying to grab my ass.

Anyhow, go check out the FestPest blog and you'll see that we have dropped the bike trip :( because of the rainy weather. We rented a car for a week and are now trying to figure out where to go. We'll probably go through Austria and head down to Northern Italy, maybe some hiking in the Dolomites? oh, there is now talk of going to Lichenstein...

Glad you made it here. Too bad the bike trip was cancelled. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for the Spanish lessons scene.
As for the plane tix, here's the best I could find so far: €199 leaving on the 22nd, returning either 27th or 28th, €222 leaving on 23rd or 24th and returning on 28th (all these w/ stops) or €238 direct flights, everyday. Let me know if you're interested in any of these.

I forgot to mention that Sethna is around and that he has the smallest dick ever. And he's a pain in the ass. He collects postcards in a compulsive way and knows more about the city than myself, which is embarrassing.

Pablito, the balding, two toned teeth midget Spaniard, is hung like a fucking donkey. He thinks any penis under fifteen inches is small [ lucky bastard]. Still, Pablito has been the most amazing host ever [and an easy lay once you get him drunk]. He, his amigos and his fine redhead roommate Maria have done an excellent job showing me the true Barcelona away from the madding tourist crowd. My dear KPak, you will have a fantastic time here, and will most likely gain weight, as both Pablito and I have, since we eat like kings every night.
Munich is an excellent city with very salty food [hence the need to chug all that beer during meals]. Highlights of my culinary experience there were a juicy roasted pig knuckle at the Spaten House Restaurant and Spargel [white asparragus] which I had with practically every meal. Make sure to catch the two Pinakothek museums, Lenbachhaus, and Villa Stuck, a house like no other.
May your days be clear and full of wonder and your nights adventurous and vomit free. Take care and Kickback
