Solo software development

I noticed this blurb in Saxonia's home page "The development of Saxon has pioneered a new way of creating software: solo development. "

Well, I'm not sure if solo development is a new way to develop software, but I sure sympathize with the sentiment. Saxon has been incredibly successful, and Michael Kay developed it himself. That can feel pretty lonely, especially when you're competing with multi billion dollar companies. Of course Saxon has 200,000 downloads, but I can relate minus the successful part. I also agree with his statement of the incredible efficiencies of the model. Nothing beats it in terms of efficiency if you know what you're doing.
