Zen and the art of ERP maintenance
This article describes the dificulty of ensuring tthe performance of ERP applications over long periods of time. A good quote from Josh Greenbaum is included:
"If you want to do a good ERP implementation, you need to have these kinds of performance management tools baked into the thing from the beginning."
Clearly the same goes for CRM and other integration system, building performance and managmeablity into a enterprise system is difficult, and the only way to go.
